General information about our products

Our product range includes all common ladle slide gate types. Whether continuous casting or ingot casting, regardless of the type of actuation, the swivel direction, whether for a ladle size of more than 300 tons or a ladle size of less than 10 tons, we have the right product for you. Despite decades of specialization in the clean steel sector, we are also happy to meet other requirements. Whether in terms of flexibility or budget, customers with these requirements are also in the right place here.

In addition to regular new and further developments, our product range also includes the traditional ladle slide gate, based on the FLO-CON models, as well as the hydraulically closing slide gate generation based on FLO-CON, type 17 (e.g. 4217 or 6317).

Something about our model designation:
The abbreviation “FT” stands for “FLO-TEC”, be careful with manufacturers who use this designation and advertise these slide gate valves as their own development. These are replicas, without access to our know-how, which has been consolidated over many decades. The original FT gate valve is only available from Knöllinger FLO-TEC GmbH!

The following number describes either the maximum possible stroke (FT200) or the number of plates (FT2 160GT). If the number of plates is also specified, the maximum stroke is described with the following number (FT2 160GT). This notation is used for our gas-conducting, sealed ladle slides. These can be recognized by the “GT” in the name (FT3 160GT). If only the stroke is specified, it is an open, universal gate valve (FT200).
